Passista Prep Training Program 3

Step into your Samba journey with confidence and foundation.

2 hours of Samba training — totaling 26 hours over the 3-month program. This 13-week preparatory journey is designed for dancers between beginner 2 and intermediate+ levels who are ready to take their Samba to the next level. Inspired by the training methods of Passistas in Rio, this program offers a rich, structured, and confidence-building environment to deepen your technique and presence. Led by Selina, an experienced teacher and performer, this is your chance to experience the discipline, joy, and community at the heart of advanced Samba training.

STEP TWO: Upon completion of the application form, you will receive a letter of acceptance. You will then be able to enroll in the program.

Led by Selina, an experienced teacher and performer, this program provides the structure, technique, and confidence-building environment to help you elevate your Samba.

Important Notes

  • Separate Admission: Participation in this program does not guarantee acceptance into the advanced Passista Training Program or Semi-pro Team in the future

  • Heels: Beginners will be gradually introduced to heels work when ready. Purchase will be recommended. 

  • Costume Requirement: Students will be asked to have a costume, under the direction of Selina (budget around 50$ to 100$)

  • Performances at the End of the Program

Selection may be required depending on the number of applications, First Come, First Serve. Criteria for selection include motivation and commitment to attending every class punctually. You will receive a letter informing you of your acceptance into the program. We want to emphasize that our goal is to create a cohesive group where each dancer can progress effectively
