The Passista Training Program is back!
Step into a 13-week intensive unlike any other. With two training sessions per week, you'll dive into 4 hours of focused instruction designed to elevate your Samba to the next level. This program is all about refining your technique in heels, building stage presence and confidence, mastering improvisation, and learning to dance with a live Bateria (TamboReal).
Created for aspiring Samba performers, this intimate training experience culminates in a performance at our JuntaSamba Summer Event. Train like a Passista in Rio de Janeiro and gain the tools, confidence, and insight needed to pursue Samba at a professional level.

Weekly Commitment: 4 hours of Samba training split across two classes per week — totaling 52 hours over the 3-month program.
Intimate Group Setting: Limited to 12 participants. - Personalized Coaching: Provided by your Instructor Rapha.

Exclusive Interview with Luara Bombom: A 2-hour informative Zoom meeting featuring an exclusive interview with the Queen of Passistas do Salgueiro, Luara Bombom. Date to be determined.
Exclusive Interview with Mayombe Masai: Join us for an enlightening Zoom meeting featuring Mayombe Masai, who will discuss the history of Samba, his experiences growing up in Rio de Janeiro, and his decade-long journey as a Passista in Rio. Date to be determined.
Training Samba with live Bateria: 4 classes with TamboReal : Dancing with live Bateria (Location TBD)(these classes will be held on Tuesdays)
Weekly Training: Includes technical personal coaching, improvisation, sequence learning, body conditioning, mirroring training methods of Passistas in Rio.
High Heels Mastery: Dedicated class for mastering skills in high heels. Thursdays.
Passista Dress: Brazilian-made, at your expense ($315 Shipping included).
Optional Samba High Heels: Recommended if you don’t have a pair. Purchase from Rio. (110$ shipping included) If you want to purchase heels you must notify your organizer upon registration.
WhatsApp Support Group: For ongoing assistance and community connection.
Contract Agreement: Ensures mutual understanding and commitment.

Special PhotoShoot: Optional Offer If you're interested in participating, please inform your organizer when you register. Each dancer will receive a couple of professional pictures. The cost is $200 per dancer. (Shooting date to be confirmed)
Professional Makeup Class: Optional Offer If you're interested in participating, please inform your organizer upon registration. This semi-private class will teach you how to apply professional makeup for show presentations as a dancer. The class will last for 3 hours (location TBD). The cost is 100$ per dancer.
