The Passista Training Program is back!

Step into the 4th Edition of our Passista Training Program — a 13-week intensive unlike any other.
With two training sessions per week, you’ll dive into 4 hours of focused instruction designed to elevate your Samba to the next level.

This program is all about:
✨ Refining your technique in heels (twice a week)
✨ Building stage presence and confidence
✨ Mastering improvisation and endurance
✨ Developing the performance quality of a true Passista

Created for aspiring Samba performers, this intimate training experience culminates in our spectacular End-of-Year Show in December 2025. Train like a Passista in Rio de Janeiro and gain the tools, confidence, and artistry needed to perform at a professional level.

Passista Training Program

This Program is for You if you are at an Advanced Level in your Samba!

Tuesdays (Heels - Drills, Stamina & Stage Presence)

  • September 9th - December 2nd, 7pm-9pm

Thursdays (Heels - Technique, Improvisation & Performance Training)

Costume Requirement 👗
Returning trainees will reuse a selected dress from past collections (as directed by Rapha).
New participants must purchase a Brazilian-made Passista dress to match the group.

  • Weekly Commitment: 4 hours of Samba training split across two classes per week — totaling 52 hours over the 3-month program.

    Intimate Group Setting: Limited to 12 participants. - Personalized Coaching: Provided by your Instructor Rapha. 

    Performance Opportunity: JuntaSamba’s End of Year Show. (Early December) Date TBD 

    Exclusive Interview with a Brazilian Master Teacher. A 2-hour informative Zoom meeting featuring an exclusive interview with a surprised guest. Date to be determined. 

    Weekly Training: Includes technical personal coaching, improvisation, sequence learning, body conditioning, mirroring training methods of Passistas in Rio. 

    High Heels Mastery: Dedicated class for mastering skills in high heels twice a week

    Passista Dress:
    For returning trainees, you will reuse a designated costume from our past collections — no new purchase required.
    For new participants, a handmade Brazilian costume is mandatory (approx. $315, shipping included).

    Optional Samba High Heels: Recommended if you don’t have a pair. Purchase from Rio. (120$ shipping included TBC) If you want to purchase heels you must notify your organizer upon registration. 

    WhatsApp Support Group: For ongoing assistance and community connection. 

    Contract Agreement: Ensures mutual understanding and commitment.

    Special VideoShoot: Optional Offer

    Professional Makeup Class: Optional Offer If you're interested in participating, please inform your organizer upon registration. This semi-private class will teach you how to apply professional makeup for show presentations as a dancer. The class will last for 3 hours (location TBD). The cost is 120$ per dancer.
