The JuntaSamba Semi-Pro Team

Pre-Professional Training & Performance Team

The JuntaSamba Semi-Pro Team is the pre-professional division of the company, created for dancers who want to train more seriously, gain stage experience, and be part of a performance team environment.

The Semi-Pro Team is not a drop-in class. It is a committed training group that works together over several months toward performance opportunities.

Dancers train in heels, learn choreography, work on synchronization, formations, stage presence, and develop the discipline and teamwork required in a performance environment.

During the Semi-Pro training, dancers work on:

  • Choreography

  • Team formations and synchronization

  • Stage presence and performance quality

  • Dancing in heels

  • Performance preparation

  • Building a 10–15 minute show

  • Working as a team

  • Understanding stage and show environments

  • Professionalism and performance etiquette

Throughout the session, we actively look for performance opportunities for the team. While performances cannot be guaranteed, the objective of the Semi-Pro Team is to prepare dancers for real stage experience and performance settings.

Performances are part of the training process and are not paid performances. The Semi-Pro Team is a training and performance experience designed to help dancers grow and gain stage experience.

Costumes

Over the years, several costume sets have been created through the Passista Training Programs, and the goal is to continue reusing these costumes for future projects and performances.

Dancers who do not yet have a costume may have the option to purchase a second-hand costume or order a new one from Brazil, depending on availability and project needs.

Costumes are an important part of the team’s visual identity and performance experience.
