Why JuntaSamba ?
Why JuntaSamba?
JuntaSamba is more than a place to take Samba classes. It’s a space to train, grow, connect and deepen your understanding of Brazilian Samba — whether you're taking your very first steps or developing as an advanced dancer.
Brazilian Samba
Our teaching is deeply connected to the culture, technique and evolution of Samba in Brazil.
Through our continued training in Rio de Janeiro and collaborations with Brazilian artists and professionals, we bring our students knowledge that is current, culturally connected and constantly evolving.
We believe learning Samba also means understanding and respecting where it comes from.
Structured Training That Helps You Progress
Our classes aren't designed as isolated drop-ins.
We build our sessions with progression in mind, giving you the time to repeat, understand and integrate what you're learning.
From foundations to advanced training, each level has a purpose — so you can develop strong technique instead of rushing through your journey.
More Than Choreography
We want you to understand your movement, not simply memorize steps.
Our training explores:
Technique • Musicality • Coordination • Movement vocabulary • Conditioning • Creativity • Performance
The goal is to give you tools that eventually allow you to develop your own Samba.
A Place Where You Can Keep Growing
You can start with us as a complete beginner and continue developing within the same school.
As your dancing evolves, you'll find new ways to challenge yourself through our regular classes, specialized programs, performance opportunities and advanced training.
There is always a next step — without needing to rush to get there.
Learn in a Supportive Environment
We take our training seriously, but we don't believe serious training needs to feel intimidating.
JuntaSamba is built around community, encouragement and respect.
Come as you are, work at your level, ask questions, make mistakes and give yourself the space to grow.
Opportunities Beyond the Studio
For students who want to take their experience further, JuntaSamba creates opportunities to experience Samba outside of weekly classes.
From performances and special projects to guest workshops and immersive training experiences in Rio de Janeiro, our goal is to create bridges between what you learn in the studio and the culture that inspires it.
Find Your Place at JuntaSamba
You don't need to already be a Samba dancer to start.
You just need to be ready to learn.
Start where you are. Train consistently. Build strong foundations. And let your Samba grow from there.
